Erin & Ian’s Evergreen Meadows Wedding | A Romantic Wedding at Evergreen Meadows
Evergreen Meadows is the kind of venue that allows a wedding day to unfold naturally.
Surrounded by towering evergreens and open fields, it offers beautiful spaces for every part of the celebration without ever feeling rushed from one location to the next. Erin and Ian’s wedding moved through each chapter of the day with an easy rhythm, from quiet moments getting ready to a packed dance floor late into the evening.
We began with the details.
Before everyone was fully dressed, I spent some time photographing the invitations, rings, florals, and other carefully chosen details that helped tell the story of the day. These flat lays are some of my favorite images to create because they preserve the thoughtful pieces couples spend months planning, many of which can easily be overlooked once the celebration begins.
While details were being photographed, Erin and Ian each got ready surrounded by their closest friends.
The bridal suite was full of excitement as everyone helped with the final touches before the ceremony. Across the venue, Ian and his groomsmen shared a much more relaxed morning, enjoying a few quiet moments together before the day officially began. Photographing both sides of the wedding morning helps tell a more complete story, capturing not only what happened, but how the day felt.
The ceremony took place outdoors beneath the trees.
Evergreen Meadows provides such a naturally beautiful ceremony space that very little needs to compete with the surrounding landscape. The towering evergreens create a timeless backdrop while still allowing plenty of natural light to filter through.
One of the sweetest parts of the ceremony was the couple’s Australian Shepherd joining the celebration. Including pets in a wedding always makes the day feel even more personal, and it was impossible not to smile watching their four-legged family member become part of such an important milestone.
Following the ceremony, we moved into wedding party portraits.
We photographed the bridesmaids and groomsmen separately before bringing everyone together for a few group photographs. These portraits balanced classic compositions with candid moments, allowing everyone’s personalities to come through while still creating timeless images the couple will enjoy for years to come.
Once family and wedding party photos wrapped up, Erin and Ian finally had a chance to step away together.
Couple portraits are often one of the few moments during a wedding when everything slows down. The timeline pauses, guests begin making their way to cocktail hour, and the couple gets a chance to simply enjoy being married.
Evergreen Meadows offers beautiful pockets of light throughout the property, making it easy to create portraits that feel both editorial and natural without needing to travel away from the venue.
The celebration continued into the reception.
After heartfelt speeches and dinner, Erin and Ian shared their cake cutting before the evening gradually shifted into celebration. As the lights dimmed and the music picked up, the dance floor quickly filled with family and friends. Formalities gave way to laughter, singing, and nonstop dancing as everyone celebrated the beginning of their new chapter together.
Evergreen Meadows has a wonderful way of making every part of a wedding feel connected. The venue flows naturally from getting ready spaces to ceremony, portraits, and reception, allowing couples to stay present throughout the day instead of feeling like they’re constantly moving between locations.
Erin and Ian embraced each moment exactly as it came. From quiet mornings with their closest friends, to portraits beneath the evergreens, to an unexpected deer wandering through the property, and finally a dance floor full of the people they love most, every part of the day felt genuine and effortless.
